Glenbrook Ewingsdale | Byron Bay

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Glenbrook Ewingsdale (“we,” “us,” or “the property”) and the guest or facilitator (“you”) for the hire and use of the property. By confirming your booking and making payment, you agree to the following terms.

1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

​

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to check in.

Bookings made within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.

All payments are to be made via bank transfer or approved payment method as stated on your invoice.

Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

2. SECURITY BOND

​

A refundable security bond is required for all bookings.

The bond amount will be outlined in your booking confirmation and must be paid prior to arrival.

The bond will be refunded within 7–10 business days after your stay, pending inspection and provided there are no damages, breakages, or breaches of these terms.

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

​

Our cancellation policy follows NSW accommodation guidelines and is detailed separately under “Cancellation Policy.” By booking, you acknowledge and agree to those terms.

4. PROPERTY USE & OCCUPANCY

​

Glenbrook Ewingsdale is available exclusively for retreats, workshops, private gatherings, and professional events as approved at the time of booking.

The property is not available for parties or unapproved events.

Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight.

Maximum guest numbers must not exceed those agreed upon at the time of booking.

The property is located in a residential area, and guests are expected to respect our neighbours and the local community at all times.

5. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in: from 2pm 

Check-out: by 10am

Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior arrangement.

Please ensure all lights, air-conditioning, and appliances are turned off upon departure, and that the property is left in a tidy condition.

6. CARE OF THE PROPERTY

​

Guests are responsible for maintaining the property in good condition during their stay.

Please report any damages or maintenance issues immediately.

Furniture and furnishings must not be moved without permission.

No open flames, candles, or incense are permitted indoors.

Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.

Pets are not permitted on the property

Any damage, loss, or additional cleaning required beyond normal use may be deducted from the security bond or charged separately to the Event Organiser 

7. NOISE & RESPECT

To maintain the tranquil nature of the property and harmony with our community:

Quiet hours apply between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.

Amplified music and large sound systems are not permitted.

Please be mindful of sound levels during outdoor gatherings or ceremonies.

8. SAFETY & LIABILITY

​

All guests use the facilities at their own risk, including the pool, sauna, ice bath, and hot tub.

This is an adults only venue 

Glenbrook Ewingsdale is not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal property during your stay.

Guests are responsible for securing their personal belongings.

We recommend all facilitators obtain public liability insurance for their event.

9. CLEANING & WASTE

Standard cleaning is included in your booking fee; however, the property must be left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition.

Additional cleaning charges may apply if the property is left excessively untidy or if waste is not properly disposed of.

Recycling and waste disposal instructions will be provided upon check in.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

​

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (including extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions), Glenbrook Ewingsdale reserves the right to cancel or reschedule your booking. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or credit toward a future booking.

11. PRIVACY

​

We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected during the booking process is kept secure and used solely for communication and administration related to your booking. Your details will never be shared with third parties without consent.

12. GOVERNING LAW

​

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes shall be resolved under NSW jurisdiction.

13. AGREEMENT

​

By confirming your booking and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms and conditions of Glenbrook Ewingsdale.
